Description & ecology
Shoot Tl up to 6,280 µg/g under thallium exposure, stored along leaf margins as cubic TlCl crystals (synchrotron µXRF/µXRD, Corzo-Remigio et al. 2026).
A food-safety concern as well as a phytoextraction candidate, since kale is edible; facultative hyperaccumulation dependent on Tl availability.
